We first found Gluten Free Gem at New Seasons Market a few years back when we saw the words “GLUTEN FREE CHEESECAKE” and nearly fainted (most likely we were looking for dessert after dinner at Hawthorne Fish House). And then at work they started having their amazing coffee cakes available. Finally, I made the “mistake” of going to their storefront (I say mistake because now I can’t stop going). It’s amazing. It’s a dedicated facility with donuts, soft pretzels(!), swiss rolls, cheesecakes, pies, tiramisu, and more. Our favorites are the Tres Leches cake (three sponge layers soaked in three milks – it’s ridiculously amazing) and the Buck-eye Bar (peanut butter chocolate bar). In the summer, their vegan ice cream sandwiches really hit the spot too. You can also do special orders!
