Craving a baguette? Bagels? Artisan bread? Holiday pies with delectable crust? Look no further than New Cascadia Traditional Bakery, Portland’s oldest dedicated gluten free bakery. You can check out their bread schedule here (you know you are in a good place when they have a “bread” schedule). Our favorites are the Challah bread (available only on Fridays) and the Everything Bagels. I love to get one bagel toasted with dairy free cream cheese for the road when I stop by. Their sandwich breads are also great and I’ve ordered a Pumpkin Pie here for Thanksgiving. If you can’t make it to the their shop, you can usually find their products at a Whole Foods, New Seasons Market, or Market of Choice.
