I about passed out when I saw “Gluten Free Croissant” pop up in the Gluten Free Portland Facebook group. The next time I was at New Seasons Market (okay fine, I made an excuse to go), I headed to the freezer section and was elated to find these! I’ll admit the words “wheat starch” on the label gave me pause – however, after some research on Gluten Free Watchdog and our own personal trust of the Schär brand to be certified gluten free, we decided to give these a try. And…yum. So. darn. good. Flaky too! And the hazelnut cream is very good (they sell plain too). And the husband felt fine! On my next New Seasons trip (okay, okay, I made another excuse), I bought more!
