We love Bend. I could go there for every vacation. Part of why we love it is GF options are just about as great as Portland. Here’s some of our favorite spots when we head down to Central Oregon.
- Spork – menu is labeled for GF – the Korean BBQ Chicken is insanely crispy and in a dedicated fryer
- Carino’s Italian – separate GF menu – we love the skillets during ski season! And the bottomless bowls of soup! They’ll also cook up a GF pizza crust as bread for you to go with your soup if you ask
- Zydeco – separate GF menu – the GF cornbread and Seafood Jambalaya is fabulous
- Emerald City Smoothie – most smoothies are GF – we love the PB&J (this chain is also in PDX and Seattle)
- 10 Barrel Brewing – good GF Pizza crust! (they also have a location in PDX)
- The Dough Nut – AMAZING GF donuts (they make them on cleaned equipment in the mornings before making the gluten donuts and then keep them in a separate area). Get there before 10 am if possible (9 am on the weekends) – they sell out quick!
- Bonta Gelato – most flavors are GF!
