If you’ve been gluten free for a while, you may have noticed there’s not much of a licorice scene. Licorice is almost exclusively made with wheat. You may have seen the red or black Scottie dogs, which are licorice-flavored, but still not our favorite. Yum Earth caught our eye the other day at Whole Foods, so we picked up a pack of gluten free strawberry licorice. Then, we went back and bought peach. Next time, pomegranate, and the I bit the bullet and ordered an entire box on Amazon (#worthit). We can’t stop eating them! They also have other great candies – selections vary at natural grocers.
