In addition to eating gf, I try to be dairy free (usually). Thus, finding ice cream and cones that we can have is a challenge. Enter Gorge Ice Cream. I found them randomly searching for sandwiches and went the first time mostly for their AMAZING kombucha selection (all made in house). Then, I saw homemade gluten free cones. Then, I saw cashew/coconut ice cream. I then considered moving to Hood River. Now, we sometimes make an afternoon trip from PDX just to stop there and I always bring my growler. Last visit I had dairy-free pumpkin spice ice cream in a gluten free pumpkin spice cone (!!!). I’ve also gotten friends hooked who say it’s the best chocolate ice cream ever. When the weather’s warm, they have a lovely patio to sit and sip a kombucha float (that’s a thing too!). Check it out – you won’t be disappointed.
