This was our second time at the Gluten Free Food Allergy Fest in Portland. Entry is $15 full price, but there are often deals and Groupons in advance and I think I paid $10 total. Even if you pay full price, you’ll eat your money’s worth in samples. Donuts, pasta, pastries, crackers, soups, dips, chips, breads, alcohol, it’s mind-blowing. Don’t miss it!
Here are our favorites finds:
- BFree – the sweet potato wraps are amazing, they make my favorite frozen bread (I now buy it at Albertsons), the frozen rolls are great, and they make pita bread!
- Bread SRSLY – I was amazed that this was gluten free – it tastes like artisan sourdough. And I finally found it at New Seasons Market!
- Manini’s – we filled our bag with this ravioli. It doesn’t break up when you boil it! I’ve found it at Whole Foods and New Seasons consistently.
- Brazi Bites – we found these the previous year (but that didn’t stop us from sampling again). I love when they are at Costco!
- Kember’s – our favorite donuts to make – you can see my post about making them here.
- Keli’s – we loved Pele’s Fire Teriyaki and ended up buying more online. The Sweet and Sour sauce was great too!
